OAK FRAME DESIGN

Carpentry.

Our carpenters are all trained in traditional scribe carpentry. Our tool kits contain a variety of specialist tools largely unchanged for hundreds of years. These are complemented with electric drills, chain morticers and circular saws. Much of the work is still finished entirely with hand tools, using time-honoured traditional techniques.

First fix carpentry

At The Oak Frame Carpentry Company, our expertise extends to integrating first fix carpentry seamlessly within oak frame structures, ensuring both structural integrity and aesthetic harmony.

We specialize in all aspects of first fix carpentry which ties seamlessly with our crafted timber frames structures, from stud walls and floor joists to cut roofs and external cladding. Our team of carpenters meticulously positions and secures each element according to architectural plans.

This approach not only enhances the durability and stability of the overall structure but also preserves the timeless beauty and craftsmanship inherent in oak frame construction. By choosing The Oak Frame Carpentry Company, you partner with specialists dedicated to excellence, craftsmanship, and the seamless integration of first fix carpentry with oak frame structures.
